Respite care is short-term care provided to relieve a primary caregiver. Respite homecare may simply provide additional support as needed. To provide peace of mind, respite care can be scheduled as one-time or recurring visits. We understand that as a caregiver, you spend a significant portion of your day and night caring for and supporting a family member. It can be demanding, time-consuming, overwhelming, and irritating at times.

Our in-home respite care services allow you to take time out for yourself, smell the roses and reconnect with your own circle of support, family and friends.

Top Dream has invested heavily in making sure that where respite care needs to happen at one of their accommodations, this accommodation will meet or exceed the minimum requirements set out in the Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Guide. This is not limited to the accommodation itself but also the access to transport and other buildings where play, fun and games can take place.

Flexibility in Respite Care

Our services are flexible, as we prioritise meeting both your needs and those of your family or caregivers. So we do not have a minimum duration for our short-term respite care – you can stay for as little as a few hours or for as long as a couple of weeks. We can also provide respite care in the comfort of your own home.
